Denver Botanic Gardens in Colorado, USA, is a community-based botanical garden that aims to educate and enthuse its visitors around the importance of conservation. With green intentions at its core, the Denver Botanic Gardens team further implemented its environmentally-friendly ethos with the inclusion of the Science Pyramid.

Heralded as the world’s most sustainable education building, the Atlas building at the University of Eindhoven has taken the top award in the Education category at the 2017 BREEAM Awards. The project achieved a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating and the highest ever BREEAM score for an educational building with 93.86%.

La Seine Musicale is a performing arts centre located on an island between the River Seine and Paris’ commune, Boulogne-Billancourt. Designed by French and Japanese Architects Jean de Gastines and Shigeru Ban, La Siene Musicale’s design is intended to evoke the emotions of artists, adults, children and curious passersby.

Designed and created by Danish architecture firm 3XN, the Royal Arena project in the historic city of Copenhagen opened earlier this year and has since been awarded the ‘Jury Winner’ in the Sport and Recreation category at this year’s Architizer A+.
