Bauserv Offers UFH Expertise for Large Scale Projects

Now integrated as a key member of Exeter based Ridgespear Group, Bauserv brings a unique blend of practical expertise and flexible manufacturing capabilities to better serve the requirements of heating professionals working on large scale projects such as offices, hotels, healthcare or HMOs.

While the brand is new, Bauserv represents an evolution of the long established and widely respected Tailored Heat Supplies, which has earned a reputation as the leader in underfloor heating and renewable energy systems for the commercial sector. Crucially, the business is structured to offer specifiers a design and manufacturing service which can respond to different projects’ individual requirements on energy saving and performance, including varying outputs, flow rates, pressure and other criteria.

Bauserv offers UK-wide coverage as well as international reach with a skill base that encompasses in-house building service engineers, technical designers, merchant sales specialists, account managers and marketing support - all having specific experience in the heating & renewable energy industry.

Such expertise has become ever more important as underfloor heating is increasingly viewed as the best answer to optimising the benefits of renewable, mainly low-temperature technologies. Yet few suppliers in the marketplace have the resources to meet the demands of larger contracts: especially in retrofit situations where considerations like floor height, heat loss, noise and access can all complicate the situation.

Bauserv’s John Trenell commented: “It is on large-scale schemes where Bauserv comes into its own as we can design and deliver on very exacting and complex requirements from professional clients working on offices, hotels, healthcare or multi-residential builds.“

“This is a holistic offer embracing ventilation and hot water systems as well as underfloor heating, heat pumps and other technologies with the support of the other companies in the Ridgespear Group including components mainly coming from our own production facilities in the UK or Europe and Importantly Bauserv has the mindset of sourcing product that is appropriate to each project’s precise needs rather than ‘making do’ with a stock range from one brand.”

Bauserv is committed to offering genuine partnership with its clients during the whole construction process: from initial design and specification, through installation with sequenced deliveries, then testing and commissioning. Throughout this process clients will benefit from Bauserv’s project management skills – including the avoidance of technical issues or delays – and clarity on cost from the outset.
