Forbo introduces new Synergy collection

Forbo Flooring Systems’ Synergy collection brings together for the first time a selection of carpet tiles and Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) that have been specifically designed to work alongside each other. Available in a variety of modular formats, colours and textures, Synergy enables designers to create on-trend office interiors with an almost endless number of stimulating floor designs, whilst meeting the various demands of activity-based work settings.

The collection is split into three designs – Seagrass, Hybrid and Marble. Each design has four Tessera carpet tile and four Allura Flex LVT co-ordinated colourways, complemented by pure colour from the Tessera Clarity cut pile carpet tile range.

Reflecting the growing trend for different formats, Forbo’s Synergy collection presents planks and extra large tiles; in addition to the 50 x 50cm tiles in Marble, the Seagrass range contains 100 x 20cm planks and Hybrid 50 x 70cm large rectangular tiles.

The collection is as convenient as it is stylish. All the products can be easily installed using the same tackifier and can be fitted directly next to each other without the need for transition strips, additional profiles or sub-floor build up. The standardised cost per square metre allows the designer to concentrate on creating their desired look.

Janet Lowe, UK Market Manager at Forbo commented: “We wanted to create a collection that provided designers with a framework for workplace environments, which addressed the different multi-use areas. Tessera carpet tiles are the ideal solution main office spaces and meeting rooms, where acoustics and underfoot comfort is desired, whereas Tessera Clarity is perfect for zoning and introducing colour pops. The durability and ease of maintenance of Allura Flex LVT make the floor covering an obvious choice for areas subjected to occasional food and drinks spillages, as well as heavy footfall or wheeled traffic.”

Seagrass has a subtle resonance with bamboo, its simple linear appearance reflecting the minimalistic trend. Hybrid is a completely new and unique design with a mottled effect that can add a truly contemporary feel to office interiors. The Marble collection meets the demands for natural stone and replicates the crystallised patterns of marbled flooring – allowing specifiers to create a luxury interior design, without the associated high costs.
