TORMAX access for top hotel

TORMAX was recently contracted by Regency Homes Ltd, to install a prestigious 3-wing revolving door system to the main entrance of the restored and refurbished Georgian Manor of Groves hotel. Giving access to a contemporary new reception area, the revolving door system enhances the external façade and is also highly functional, providing clear and easy access for guests whilst also minimising energy costs by reducing heat-loss from the foyer and helping maintain an ambient internal temperature, whatever the weather.

“The main hotel is truly beautiful now it has been refurbished,” comments Sarah Ward, Business Development Manager at Manor of Groves. “Constructed primarily in glass, the new hotel reception sits between two wings of the original building, with the revolving door system setting the standard of the hotel right from the start.”

The Manor of Groves hotel, golf and country club is located in 150 acres of idyllic Hertfordshire countryside, within easy reach of major motorways and airports. In addition to 80 elegantly restored bedrooms, guests can enjoy using the state-of-the-art 300sq ft leisure club and well as an 18-hole championship golf course.

A market leader in bespoke entrance design, TORMAX offers a comprehensive range of options including sliding, swing, revolving and folding door systems to suit almost any location. Cutting-edge iMotion technology ensures low-energy solutions when circumstances demand advanced door automation.

“We have over 60 years of experience in the manufacture, design, installation and maintenance of both manual and automatic entrance solutions,” confirms Simon Roberts, MD for TORMAX UK Ltd. “Our iMotion operators have been developed in-house at the Swiss HQ and represent one of the most technologically advanced solutions available today, with reliability that really is second-to-none.
