Designed by De Matos Ryan, Wonderlab: The Bramall Gallery forms an integral part of the National Railway Museum’s Vision 2025 transformation programme. This new, interactive gallery in York embodies the Science Museum Group’s vision to build creative STEM confidence and ignite the engineering curiosity of future generations. It will equip and inspire the target audience of seven to 14 year olds with the skills and aptitudes needed to meet and embrace the potential engineering challenges and opportunities of the future.

Established by a decree of Marshall Józef Piłsudski in 1920, the Polish Army Museum has, for over a century, preserved a unique collection exceeding 300,000 exhibits. Until now, it lacked a dedicated headquarters to showcase its treasures. Today, after more than a century, the museum unveils its modern home, complete with a permanent exhibition and space for temporary exhibits and cultural events. The design of the new building is credited to WXCA Architectural Design Studio.

The Dutch city of Almere was built on reclaimed land that was once the Zuiderzee – a shallow sea bay in the Netherlands. The first house in this planned new town was completed in 1976. Since then, the city has grown to a population of nearly 220,000, which means Almere is well on its way to being the fifth-largest city in the country. However, it lacks a museum of note, befitting a metropolis of such stature. Local, provincial and national Government administrators agreed that a museum should be on top of the priority list to raise the city’s appeal.

Aytac Architects, an award-winning architecture and research practice based in Istanbul, Turkey, is proud to proceed with its development of the DE Bodrum Museum, a custom design for contemporary Turkish Artist Devrim Erbil. Located in Bodrum and set against the blue waters of the Aegean Sea, the design was recognised as a WA Award Cycle 40 winner in 2021 as part of the World Architecture Community Awards.

The new online experience is the first stage in the Museum of Diversity’s wider plan to realise a bricks and mortar location by 2025, also designed by SPPARC.
