AET Flexible Space, underfloor air conditioning specialists have just completed another West End project in London at Hammersley House, 5-8 Warwick Street. The six floor property offers both retail and office accommodation and was acquired by Royal London Asset Management from Development Securities for £8.85million. The 16,311 sq. ft. building has been stripped back to the core and undergone a full redevelopment, including redesigned windows and a vibrant new green brick façade to grant more architectural definition and visual interest from the street.

Underfloor air conditioning has again helped overcome restricted slab to slab dimensions at the recently refurbished 17 Devonshire Square in London. The 22,461 sq. ft. building is located in a prominent corner position of this historic area of London and is centrally located between The City and Shoreditch. The square has twelve Grade II listed buildings and was the former site of the renowned East India Company warehouses until around 1820.

AET Flexible Space has recently completed the supply and commissioning of underfloor air conditioning equipment at 20 Soho Square in London’s West End. The 6000 m2 neo-classical building has a stunning Portland stone façade; the most prominent in Soho Square and the iconic colonnade extends across the ground and first floors. AET has supplied a total of twenty five CAM-C (DX) downflow units along with associated Daikin heat pumps and around 360 TU4-EC fan terminals; with the underfloor system installed throughout most of the building’s seven floors.

Airbloc, part of Nortek Global HVAC (UK) Ltd, Europe’s leading developer and manufacturer of energy efficient radiant and warm air heating systems, has launched a new common controller for the AC and ACR range of Air Curtains.

AET Flexible Space have recently supplied their under floor air conditioning system and bespoke teak finish raised access flooring to another height restricted London refurbishment at 28 Savile Row Mayfair, fully redeveloped by Allied London. The building was originally developed as part of the Burlington Estate in the 18th Century and has a prominent location at the north end of Savile Row, situated on the corner with Clifford Street.

A video showing the views of both the consultant and the installer to a new air conditioning system that does away with the need for leak detection has just been put online.

Mitsubishi Electric has launched a new slim line cassette with a 3D i-See Sensor which scans a room to detect exactly how many people are in it and switches off the air conditioning when a room is empty.
