Harmer donates floor drains to help local apprentices

Harmer Building Drainage has donated stainless steel shower drains to training provider, CP Assessments, for demonstrations when teaching students how to install grated drainage into wet rooms.

“It’s always nice to give a little something back,” says Wayne Willmott, National Sales Manager for Harmer. “So when we were asked to supply some drainage products to help teach future contractors and installers, we were more than happy to contribute.”

CP Assessments is the UK’s leading provider of apprenticeships and NVQs for the flooring trade. With over 2,500 NVQs and apprenticeships delivered, the team at CP Assessments provides the highest quality training and learning to flooring contractors and businesses.

“We want to thank Harmer and the team at AWMS for kindly donating the drains,” says David Russell of CP Assessments. “It has been a huge advantage to us. It means we can continue providing the best training to our construction trainees on how to correctly fit and install drainage into flooring, while ensuring all standards are met.

“Our knowledgeable team has many years’ experience and they understand that installing a quality fit drain is important,” continues David. “There’s lots of cheap drainage out there but Harmer provides the best. We want a good standard of drain when we are training tomorrow’s people.”

Harmer Drainage is part of Alumasc Water Management Solutions (AWMS) - the new name in integrated water management. It’s one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of building drainage products.
