GRP roof flashings and valley troughs

Hambleside Danelaw has a new, recently approved RIBA CPD seminar analysing glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) and its use in roof flashings and valley troughs. The seminar covers the history and development of GRP.

With many environmental benefits compared to conventional materials, GRP is safe to use in greywater systems and at the end of its long service life, is recyclable. The material is durable, easy to install, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing.

The CPD guides architects, specifiers and house builders through the production of GRP, and details the advantages of ‘Dry-Fix’ mortar-free roof construction. The seminar compares good and bad solutions to detailing requirements, demonstrating the use of GRP in a number of best practice applications and details.
