The new ST500 sliding, collective garage door from Hörmann brings security, ease of access, quality design, low maintenance and durability to any communal garage.
As cities become more crowded and space is at a premium there is a greater demand for communal parking, in turn creating a demand for secure and efficient access.
The new ST500 side sliding door for collective garages is the latest addition to the Hörmann range that satisfies this demand. The new door takes its lead from the successful ET500 up-and-over door that offers a multitude of finish options to suit any development.
These doors are highly engineered since they have to meet a number of seemingly contradictory constraints. They need to; be secure and easy to access, robust yet in harmony with the building design and capable of high frequency use with minimal maintenance. All while operating where space is often extremely limited.
Both the sliding ST500 and up-and-over ET500 are designed for a long service life of over 250,000 door cycles. The tested designs create very little wear on the operator, have a high level of operational safety and low operating costs. The doors are very quiet in operation and require minimal headroom, making them ideal for tight spaces.
The design options available have made the ET500 a sought after product and are matched with the ST500 sliding door. For a bespoke finish these doors are available for on-site infill with a material of the architect or designers choice. This truly bespoke option is only limited by the weight of the material chosen and a maximum door width of 6 metres.
Adding to the design options wicket doors and matching side doors are available. Aside from individual designs there are a number of standard finishes offered that include perforated sheet, expanded mesh, ribbed steel sheet and smooth aluminium sheet.
As you would expect from Hörmann there are a range of operators to suit the required frequency of operation and a wide range of switches keys and operating devices all designed to integrate seamlessly and are built to the exacting standards you would expect.
